Set among the pines of Fern Valley, Mountain Water is a three-bedroom, two-bath retreat where warm cabin character meets modern comfort. Natural light pours through floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights, framing forest and mountain views throughout the home. Come for the quiet mornings and nearby trails. SLEEPING SPACES The home has three queen bedrooms, each with premium linens, a smart TV and its own mini-split heating and cooling system. The upstairs primary suite feels like a retreat of its own, with a vaulted ceiling, skylight, vintage iron stove, enclosed private porch and ensuite bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower and dual vanity. Two additional queen bedrooms are located on the lower level. One includes a dresser, while the other offers a full-length mirror. The renovated shared bathroom has a shower and bathtub combination. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, fresh towels and a hair dryer are provided. A full-size washer and dryer are also located on the lower level. COOK, DINE & GATHER The newly renovated kitchen is designed for guests who enjoy cooking and gathering together. Stainless steel appliances, stone countertops and custom cabinetry are complemented by Le Creuset cookware, quality dinnerware and a selection of spices. Morning coffee comes with options: choose from a traditional filter coffee maker, French press or Nespresso machine. Complimentary coffee is provided. Pull up a seat at the breakfast bar for two, or gather around the custom live-edge dining table with seating for ten. The adjoining open-concept living room features soaring ceilings, skylights, a leather sectional and a wood-burning fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows keep the surrounding landscape in view while you watch a movie, work on a puzzle or settle in with one of the provided games and blankets. Entertainment includes Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV, HBO Max, Netflix and cable or satellite programming. LIFE OUTDOORS Mountain Water offers two distinct outdoor spaces for enjoying Idyllwild’s fresh air and changing seasons. The elevated front deck overlooks the forest and mountains, with comfortable seating, a custom swing and patio heaters for cooler evenings. The private rear deck is made for unwinding. Soak in the hot tub beneath the pines, prepare dinner on the gas BBQ or gather around the propane Modfire fireplace as the sun goes down. PARKING Complimentary onsite parking and additional street parking are available. SECURITY Exterior security devices include two Ring doorbells and one camera overlooking the parking area. WINTER TRAVEL Mountain weather can change quickly. If professional snow removal is needed to make the private driveway safely accessible for arrival, a flat $200 service fee will apply. We will coordinate the service and notify guests as soon as possible. During winter, guests should monitor local road conditions, travel in a properly equipped vehicle and carry tire chains when required.
